Overview:
One of Vivid Resourcing’s Local Authority clients in Barnet is seeking a Trading Standards Officer to join their team untill June/July 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Join a dedicated team of Trading Standards Officers committed to fostering a safe and fair trading environment in Barnet. The focus of this role will primarily be on seizing non-compliant products, including counterfeit goods and tobacco-related items, as well as addressing underage sales. In this position, you will be responsible for:
- Confidently engaging with businesses to address compliance issues.
- Accurately recording data on Uniform and IDB systems.
- Progressing cases efficiently to ensure submission within half the required time limit.
- Interacting with letting agents and addressing product safety concerns.
Food safety and weights and measures will not be required in this role.
Your expertise and proactive approach will significantly contribute to maintaining high trading standards in the community.
