Role: TA Scheduler
Project: Oil and gas refinery turnaround
Location: Austria | Hybrid Working
Start Date: June 2026
Contract: Freelance 9 months
Weekly hours: 50–60 Hours per Week
We are currently seeking an experienced Turnaround Scheduler to support a major refinery turnaround project within the oil & gas sector in Austria.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile project on a long-term freelance basis, working within a fast-paced turnaround environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimise turnaround schedules using Primavera
- Coordinate closely with project, maintenance, and shutdown teams
- Monitor project progress and identify scheduling risks or delays
- Support planning and reporting activities throughout the turnaround lifecycle
- Ensure scheduling activities align with project milestones and operational requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience working on refinery or petrochemical turnarounds/shutdowns
- Strong scheduling experience using Primavera P6
- EU passport or permanent residency in Austria is essential
- Ability to work in a high-intensity project environment with extended weekly hours
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Desirable
- Own laptop and active Primavera licence
- Previous refinery or downstream oil & gas experience in Europe
