The client we are working with are currently supporting a landsystem, puma and tank development project. This long-term freelance engagement offers the chance to work on complex, high-impact projects using modern system architecture methodologies.
🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing
- Architecting and designing strategic system solutions
- System modelling using MBSE methodologies (SysML, SAF)
- Translating customer requirements into system models and specifications
- Supporting technical effort estimates for proposals with cross-functional teams
- Creating clear, compelling presentations to communicate complex system concepts
- Collaborating with system engineers and software architects to align architecture
- Harmonising product approaches to define modular software/system architecture
- Developing and implementing interfaces between requirements and models
🎯 What You Bring
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or similar
- Strong experience with SPARX Enterprise Architect and IBM Rhapsody
- Proficiency in SysML and SAF; NAF4 knowledge is a plus
- Experience with IBM DOORS for requirements engineering
- Several years in systems engineering for complex technical systems
- Excellent communication and visualisation skills
- Familiarity with mechanics, optics, software, electronics and their integration
- Structured, analytical, and business-oriented mindset
- Fluent in German and English
- German citizenship is mandatory due to project requirements
