Job Title– Interim Supply Chain ManagerÂ
Start Date – ASAP
Location – Wingene, West Flanders (4 days per week on-site)
Contract Type – Interim / Fixed-Term Contract (3 months)
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team on a 3-month interim basis. This role will be responsible for overseeing regional supply chain operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products across the value chain while driving collaboration between key business functions.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing operational supply chain activities, leading a small customer service and supply chain coordination team, and supporting business process integration across systems and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee day-to-day supply chain operations, including replenishment, raw material planning, packaging management and internal logistics.
- Manage and coach a team of three Supply Chain Coordinators within the Customer Service function, supporting their development and performance.
- Maintain oversight of the end-to-end value chain, ensuring effective collaboration across departments and helping to break down functional silos.
- Act as a key interface between supply chain, operations, customer service and other business functions to drive alignment and operational excellence.
- Support and optimise business processes involving the MOM (Momentum) platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system, including the interpretation and resolution of EDI-related issues.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, enhance service levels and ensure the efficient flow of materials, information and products across the organisation.
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or in a senior supply chain leadership position.
- Strong operational supply chain background covering replenishment, materials management, packaging and logistics.
- Experience managing customer service and/or supply chain coordination teams.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop junior team members.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Understanding of EDI transactions and supply chain data flows.
- Strong analytical and conceptual problem-solving capabilities.
