Project:Â Retail Warehouse Newbuild (1MW Rooftop PV installation)
Start Date: 1st week of July
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Hours: Full-time, 5 days per week, 40 hours per week
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a 1MW rooftop PV installation on a warehouse newbuild in Gildersome, Leeds. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain project timelines.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to site safety procedures and compliance with UK regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, progress reports, and risk assessments.
- Manage resources, including materials, equipment, and workforce allocation.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with project specifications.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing rooftop PV projects strongly preferred.
- Relevant UK site safety qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS Black Card.
- Proven track record of managing construction sites within time and budget constraints.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
