Service Delivery Manager

IT SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER
LONDON, UK (2-3 DAYS REMOTE WORK PER WEEK)
FREELANCE 12 MONTHS+
OUTSIDE IR35

A large multinational client of mine are searching for a Service Delivery Manager to join in January 2025, helping to ensure that the BAU services for all entities of the customer (50+) are all satisfied, and their IT Infrastructure & Cloud environments are supported appropriately, as well a co-ordinating all relevant teams during an incident acting as an incidence response coordinator. My client can offer an initial 12-month freelance contract. This incredibly exciting role also offer up to 3 days of remote work per week in the Central London and is an outside IR35 contract position.

Objectives:

  • Act as the service delivery manager and incident response co-ordinator for the UK and European entities of my client ensuring operational excellence of their IT Infrastructure & Cloud environments.
  • Co-ordinate various teams including internal members of staff, external members of staff and managed service providers.
  • Bring the various teams together for incident response.
  • Keep in constant communication with all stakeholders, following up on actions, ensuring all are happy and ay issues/concerns are dealt with quickly and effectively, sharing SLA’s etc…
  • Create quarterly service reports for each region (e.g., Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Belgium etc…) and present them to the relevant key stakeholders including executive staff.
  • Create service report templates and standards, looking to automate these service reports where possible and standardise operations/responses etc…
  • Deliver to all stakeholders, including when upgrades are needed or when requirements of entities change.
  • Help manage the handover of newly acquired entities when passed over from the transition team (after they’ve been brought into the standard group level environment).
  • Raise performance issues with the vendors and ensure a solution is made to improve and get back on track.

Required:

  • Experience as a Service Manager/Service Delivery Manager.
  • Good General IT Infrastructure Knowledge (wide-ranged – generally Microsoft environment).
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry.
  • English speaking.
