Our client is a globally active marine contractor specialising in dredging, offshore infrastructure, and maritime engineering. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, they play a key role in developing complex marine projects that support energy transition, coastal resilience, and infrastructure development.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of a complex offshore cabling project. You will be working from the office in Gorinchem, the Netherlands and will play a key role in building, developing and maintaining the baseline schedule using Primavera P6. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
• Develop baseline schedules and update progress on a daily or weekly basis
• Break down the project into WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and activity levels
• Input resource allocations, activity durations, and logic ties into P6
• Track critical path and near-critical path activities to prevent project delays
• Perform schedule analysis and generate lookahead reports

Candidate Requirements:

• Eligible to work in the Netherlands as a freelancer (EU passport or Dutch residency)
• Proven experience in EPC cabling projects
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a bonus)
• Able to work onsite in the Netherland every week
• EU or UK passport holder, or Dutch resident
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract Details

• Location: 3 days in office in Gorinchem, 2 days remote
• Duration: 12 month contract with potential extension based on project needs
• Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate based on experience and qualifications
