Senior New Business Development Manager

Our client, a medium sized Housing Association in Derbyshire, is looking for an experienced Senior New Business Development Manager to oversee a number of new housing development projects.

This role involves acquiring housing development opportunities to support growth ambitions by utilising various forms of development delivery.

The successful candidate will manage planning applications, secure opportunities that align with the development strategy, and implement joint ventures.

Additionally, they will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality service delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading and developing junior team members to deliver high-quality services.
  • Identifying and securing suitable S106, Package deal and additional development opportunities that align to the Development strategy.
  • Identifying and implementing joint ventures and partnerships with local authorities, housing associations, private developers and investors.
  • Recommending and ensuring that appropriate development proposals, feasibility studies and risk assessments are put together for new sites and opportunities.
  • To deliver financial and social economic appraisals of land and property opportunities suitable for the inclusion of the programme.
