Interim Class 2D+ Building Control Surveyor

12 Month Initial Contract (High Likelihood of Extension)
Up to £60 per hour
We are currently seeking an experienced Class 2D+ Building Control Surveyor for an interim opportunity based in London. This is an initial 12-month contract, with a strong view to extension due to ongoing workload.
The Role
This is a hybrid role offering a balanced mix of site and home-based work:
3 days per week carrying out site inspections
Opportunity to move to full-time working depending on service needs
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out site inspections across a range of building types
Assessing compliance with Building Regulations
Plan checking and providing technical advice
Liaising with applicants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
Ensuring works meet statutory and safety standards
Requirements
Must be Class 2D+ registered with the BSR
Proven experience within Building Control
Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and legislation
Ability to work autonomously in an interim capacity
Full UK driving licence (due to site visits)
