A client of ours is currently seeking an experienced Project Planner / Scheduler to support a long-term data centre construction project in the Milan area, Italy.
This is a key on-site planning role within a major MEP contractor environment, responsible for supporting the successful delivery of a complex, large-scale construction programme.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project planning and scheduling activities across a major data centre development. You will play a key role in monitoring progress, maintaining schedule accuracy, and ensuring alignment between construction, engineering, and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays, risks, and constraints
- Coordinate closely with construction, engineering, and project management teams
- Produce schedule reports, look-ahead programmes, and progress updates
- Support recovery planning and mitigation strategies where required
- Ensure planning and scheduling data is accurate, timely, and aligned with project objectives
Requirements:
- Must hold an EU passport or Italian permanent residency (mandatory)
- Proven proficiency in Primavera P6
- Previous experience working on large-scale construction projects (data centre experience highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of project controls and scheduling methodologies
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced project environment
- Strong communication and coordination skills across multidisciplinary teams
