About the Client:
Our client is an Italian Electrical Subcontractor working on Data Centre projects with a range of large end-clients.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a Data Centre project in Milan. You will be working onsite through the project from preconstruction thought to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of projects, from initial planning to final testing. The role ensures that the installations on site are carried out on time, within budget, and in compliance with strict safety and regulatory standards (national, international and from customers)
• In collaboration with the scheduler defines detailed work plans, coordinating the labour, materials and equipment required for the installation phases
• Monitors project cost, manages purchase orders and oversee resource allocation to prevent budget overruns
• Technical and Resource Coordination: manage multidisciplinary teams of subcontractors, collaborating with engineers and architects to resolve any discrepancies in technical drawings
• Stakeholder Relations: act as the main point of contact for the client and the General Contractor, providing regular updates on the progress of the work and managing any changes during construction

Candidate Requirements:

• EU passport holder or Italian permanent resident
• Experience as a Project Manager
• Data Centre experience
• Fluent English, Italian (beneficial)
• Happy to work onsite in Milan, Italy

Contract Details:
Location: 5 days on-site in Milan, potential for Saturday work too
Duration: 18 month contract
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate based on experience and qualification
