Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to support the delivery of a large‑scale pharmaceutical plant located north of Munich. The role is fully on‑site and focuses exclusively on the installation and construction phase of electrical systems.
You will take full responsibility for managing electrical construction activities across the complete spectrum of building services from medium voltage systems through to low voltage, ELV, and security installations, acting as the central point of coordination between contractors, planners, and the client construction team.

Scope of Electrical Systems
The role covers end‑to‑end electrical construction oversight, including but not limited to:
- Medium Voltage (MV) distribution and substations
- Low Voltage (LV) power and lighting systems
- Emergency power and UPS systems
- Earthing, bonding, and lightning protection
- Building Management System (BMS) interfaces
- Fire detection and alarm systems
- Access control, CCTV, and security systems
- Data, IT, and structured cabling
- Special electrical systems typical of pharmaceutical environments

Key Responsibilities
Â
- Act as the overall Electrical Construction Manager for the project
- Daily coordination, clarification, and supervision of electrical contractors and subcontractors
Â
Ensure correct installation in line with:
Â
- Project specifications
- German regulations and standards
- GMP requirements applicable to pharmaceutical facilities
- Review and clarify technical queries (RFIs) from contractors

Schedule and progress control:
Â
- Monitor construction timelines
- Identify risks and deviations early
- Drive corrective actions on site

Cost control responsibilities, including:

- Monitoring contractor performance versus budget
- Supporting change management and variations
- Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and punch‑list management
- Participate in site meetings and report progress to the wider construction team
- Support commissioning and handover phases from a construction perspective

Required Experience & Skills
Â
- Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager on large industrial or pharmaceutical projects
- Strong background across MV, LV, ELV, and security systems
- Excellent knowledge of installation practices and site execution
- Experience managing multiple electrical contractors simultaneously
- Strong understanding of German codes, standards, and site practices
- Fluency in German (mandatory); English is a strong advantage
- Confident working in a fast‑paced, regulated environment
- Structured, assertive, and hands‑on site leadership style
