Role Overview
As IT Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of five infrastructure professionals and providing both strategic and operational leadership.
You will define the infrastructure roadmap, set priorities, and guide the implementation of initiatives across server, network, and core IT infrastructure domains. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of 5 infrastructure specialists.
- Develop and maintain the IT infrastructure roadmap.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic direction for infrastructure projects.
- Oversee the implementation of infrastructure upgrades and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure the stability, security, and performance of server and network environments.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Manage risks, priorities, and resource planning.
- Support operational decision-making and issue resolution when required.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager, Infrastructure Lead, or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of:
- Server infrastructure (Windows/Linux, virtualization, storage, backup)
- Networking (routing, switching, firewalls, WAN/LAN)
- Cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience managing small technical teams.
- Ability to define and execute infrastructure strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical oversight.
Language Requirements
- Fluent Dutch and English are required.
