Industrial Controller – East Flanders

We are looking for an Industrial Controller to join a fast-growing, innovation-driven organisation in the robotics and intralogistics sector (East Flanders).
This is a high-impact role where you sit at the intersection of Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and R&D, helping to build and optimise how advanced robotic systems are produced, costed, and delivered globally.
🔍 What you will do
In this role, you will be the financial engine behind industrial performance:
- Build and improve an industrial controlling environment within SAP S/4HANA
- Analyse monthly production results vs standard cost models
- Track and explain purchase price variances & cost deviations
- Identify key cost drivers and inefficiencies in production
- Support and challenge standard costing (BOMs, absorption, rework costs)
- Improve cost price systems and transfer pricing structures
- Monitor inventory valuation, stock rotation, and obsolescence risks
- Support new product cost calculations in collaboration with R&D
- Deliver ad hoc analysis (ROI, production efficiency, capacity optimisation)

🧠 What we are looking for
- Proven experience in industrial controlling / cost controlling
- Strong knowledge of SAP (S/4HANA / PP is a strong plus)
- Experience with:
- Standard costing / BOM analysis
- Inventory valuation & obsolescence
- Purchase-to-pay processes
- Cost drivers & variance analysis
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
- Fluent in Dutch and English
