We’re looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join our team and manage a diverse housing management patch. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated housing professional who enjoys a varied role and is passionate about delivering outstanding services to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage rent accounts and take early intervention action to minimise arrears.
- Investigate and manage Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) cases through to resolution.
- Deliver effective tenancy management, including tenancy audits, breaches, successions and sustainment.
- Manage allocations, property offers and void-related activities.
- Carry out regular estate inspections and address neighbourhood and environmental issues.
- Build positive relationships with residents, stakeholders and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with housing legislation and policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Housing Officer or Housing Management role.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Rent recovery
- ASB case management
- Allocations and lettings
- Estate and neighbourhood management
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and case management skills.
- Ability to manage a busy and varied workload independently.
- CIH Level 4 qualification is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (where required).
