| Duties: | - Planning and execution of measurements and characterization (e.g., S-parameters, high-speed measurements)
- Performing turn-on and bring-up of complex high-speed hardware (PCIe Gen6/Gen7 systems)
- Debugging and failure analysis on system and board level
- Supporting layout and design optimization in close collaboration with design and signal integrity (SI) teams
- Maintaining and further developing engineering tools (e.g., test boards, breakout boards)
- Supporting field issues and customer problems after product release
- Collaborating within international teams

| Skills: | - Several years of experience in hardware development or hardware debugging
- Solid knowledge of:
- High-speed design (e.g., PCIe, SerDes, signal integrity)
- Board bring-up and lab validation
- Experience with measurement equipment (e.g., high-speed oscilloscope, VNA, BERT)
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition in particular for schematics design
- Structured and analytical way of working
- Strong team skills in an international environment

| Education: | - University degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable field
- Strong knowledge and background in high-speed design (S-parameters, transmission lines, electromagnetic field theory, …)
