Role Overview:
We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the delivery of an Energy Infrastructure project.
You will play a key role in providing engineering services to clients in the fields of cable installation and energy infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing engineering services to clients in the fields of cable installation and energy infrastructure
• Planning, technical evaluation and successful implementation of renovation and new construction projects
• Managing technical projects while ensuring quality, deadlines and budget compliance
• Analysing and optimising workflows, methods and technical foundations with a focus on sustainability
• Collaborating in interdisciplinary project teams on special and additional tasks
• Actively participating in quality management to ensure sustainable and standards-compliant work quality
• Supporting the documentation, tracking and quality assurance of technical services

Candidate Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Germany as a freelancer (EU passport or German residency)
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical qualification
• 3+ years of professional experience in managing technical projects, ideally in the infrastructure or construction sector
• Excellent written and spoken English and German
• Class B driver’s license

• Proficiency in CAD and ERP systems
• Experience in the construction industry and with high-voltage cables
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety and safety regulations
• Experience in managing quality, deadlines, and costs
• Strong organisational and communication skills

Contract Details
Location: 4 days in the Berlin office every week, 1 day remote
Duration: 12 month contract with high possibility for extensions based on project needs
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate based on experience and qualifications
