Overview –
I am partnering with an innovative healthcare start-up to find a highly capable Full Stack Engineer. This is a fully remote, 12-month contract opportunity (40 hours/week), starting in June, for someone who enjoys building meaningful healthcare products and taking ownership from concept through delivery.
This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who is equally comfortable contributing across the stack and collaborating closely with a small, high-performing team.
Required Skills & Experience –
- Proficiency in:
- Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks)
- ReactJS
- SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience working in AWS environments (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3)
- Familiarity with Electron or desktop application development
- Experience working with Tailwind CSS or modern UI frameworks
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Experience working with FHIR APIs
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration
- Comfortable working in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in healthcare or health tech environments
- Experience working with regulated data (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR)
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor
- Experience in start-up or early-stage product environments
- DevOps exposure (CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code)
