Role Overview:
We are looking for a Electrical Estimator to support the delivery of an Energy Infrastructure project. You will play a key role in preparing cost estimates for electrical and construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently preparing cost estimates for electrical and construction projects
- Analysing bid documents and specifications (particularly in accordance with VOB, for public and private clients)
- Obtaining quotes from various suppliers followed by price comparisons
- Consideration of technical and business criteria with corresponding evaluation of technical concepts and alternatives
- Preparation of bid calculations in close collaboration with sales and project management
- Maintenance and further development of calculation data and templates
Candidate Requirements:
- Eligible to work in Germany as a freelancer (EU passport or German residency)
- Completed technical training in electrical engineering or commercial training with a technical aptitude; alternatively, a degree in utility engineering, construction, or electrical engineering
- Experience in the costing of electrical/construction projects
- Very good written and spoken English and German
- Proficiency in MS Office
Contract Details
Location: 4 days in the Berlin office every week, 1 day remote
Duration: 12 month contract with high possibility for extensions based on project needs
Rate:Â Competitive freelance daily rate based on experience and qualification
