Vivid Resourcing is currently supporting a specialist technology organisation in Zeeland that is looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to join their team on a freelance basis.
This is a hands-on firmware development role focused on radio technology, offering the opportunity to work on embedded systems and contribute to the development of specialist technical solutions.
The Role
As a Firmware Engineer, you’ll work on the development and improvement of firmware for radio-based applications. You’ll be involved in solving technical challenges and developing reliable embedded solutions as part of a specialist engineering environment.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining firmware for radio-based applications
- Working with embedded systems and microcontrollers
- Writing, testing and debugging firmware
- Investigating and resolving technical issues
- Contributing to the development and improvement of embedded solutions
- Working closely with other engineers throughout the development process
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer with strong embedded development experience and an interest in radio technology.
You ideally have:
- Professional experience in firmware development
- Strong embedded programming experience
- Experience working with microcontrollers
- Experience or knowledge of radio or wireless technology
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work independently and contribute effectively within an engineering team
