About the Client:

Our client is a globally recognised EPC contractor specialising in the execution of large-scale industrial and energy projects, particularly within oil & gas, petrochemical, and energy transition sectors. With a strong track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects, they are known for their high standards in safety, engineering excellence, and project delivery.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced freelance Electrical Supervisor to support a major project based in Antwerp. The successful candidate will oversee on-site electrical activities, ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications. This is a hands-on supervisory role requiring strong coordination between subcontractors, engineering teams, and site management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation activities on site.

· Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.

· Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to schedule and quality requirements.

· Enforce HSE policies and promote a strong safety culture across site activities.

· Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

· Track progress and provide regular reporting to project management.

· Support pre-commissioning and commissioning phases as required.

· Liaise closely with engineering, QA/QC, and construction teams to resolve issues.

Candidate Requirements:

· Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large-scale industrial or energy projects.

· Strong background in electrical installation and/or commissioning.

· Previous experience working on EPC projects (oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy).

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

· Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.

· Fluent English (spoken and written).

· EU work eligibility.
 

Contract Details

Location: On-site in Antwerp, Belgium.

Duration: 12-month contract, with potential extension depending on project requirements.

Rate: Negotiable
