Job Title: D365 BC Functional Consultant – Finance

Role Overview:
As the D365 BC Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for analysing business processes, translating finance requirements into functional solutions, and supporting the rollout of the finance modules within Dynamics 365 Business Central.
The environment is complex and project-driven, making previous experience within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or similar industries highly valuable.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and support the rollout of Dynamics 365 Business Central finance modules
· Gather and analyse business and finance requirements from stakeholders
· Configure and optimise D365 BC finance functionalities
· Support workshops, gap analysis, and process mapping sessions
· Translate business needs into functional specifications
· Collaborate closely with technical consultants and project managers
· Provide guidance and best practices around finance processes within D365 BC
· Support testing activities including UAT and issue resolution
· Deliver end-user training and documentation where required
· Ensure successful adoption across multiple business units/sites
Candidate Requirements:
· 510 years of experience as a Functional Consultant within Microsoft Dynamics environments
· Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
· Extensive experience with finance/accounting modules in D365 BC
· Experience working on large-scale ERP rollout or transformation projects
· Strong understanding of financial processes including:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Fixed Assets
- VAT
- Cost accounting
- Financial reporting
· Experience conducting workshops and stakeholder management
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Contract Details
