Computer Vision & Autonomy Engineer – Luxembourg

Location: Luxembourg
Our Luxembourg based client is an international engineering organisation developing advanced computer vision, autonomous navigation and robotic systems for complex aerospace and defence applications.
They are looking for a Computer Vision & Autonomy Engineer to develop and integrate vision-based sensing and navigation technologies, working from algorithm development through to simulation, hardware integration and verification.
Responsibilities
- Develop computer vision algorithms for pose estimation, object detection, segmentation and tracking.
- Work with classical computer vision, neural networks and sensor fusion techniques.
- Develop simulation and synthetic-data environments.
- Integrate cameras, sensors and vision software with embedded and robotic platforms.
- Conduct testing, validation and performance analysis.
- Support the development of autonomous navigation and perception systems.
Requirements
- Experience in computer vision, robotics, autonomous systems or machine perception.
- Strong C++ and Python skills.
- Experience with OpenCV and PyTorch.
- Knowledge of pose estimation, multi-view geometry and sensor calibration.
- Understanding of Kalman filtering/state estimation.
- Experience with simulation, hardware integration or embedded systems.
Experience within aerospace or defence is beneficial but not essential. Candidates from robotics, autonomous vehicles, drones or industrial vision backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
Desirable: SLAM, sensor fusion, ROS/ROS 2, Gazebo/Isaac Sim, CUDA/TensorRT and embedded AI.
