Role Overview:
Our client is a leading international organisation operating within a highly regulated environment where software quality, compliance, and reliability are critical to business success. To support ongoing digital transformation initiatives, they are looking for an experienced Test Coordinator to lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple projects and product teams.
You will act as the central point of contact for all testing-related activities, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders, development teams, and quality assurance functions.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Test Coordination & Planning

• Define and manage test strategies, test plans, and test schedules.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Ensure adequate test coverage for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Monitor testing progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Facilitate test readiness reviews and go-live quality assessments.

Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for testing activities.
• Coordinate communication between business users, developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
• Provide regular reporting on test execution progress, quality metrics, risks, and defects.
• Organise and lead test planning meetings, defect triage sessions, and test status reviews.

Quality Assurance

• Drive continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to established testing methodologies and governance frameworks.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning and execution.
• Assist with audit and compliance requirements within a regulated environment.

Tooling & Reporting

• Manage test activities and reporting through Zephyr.
• Maintain testing dashboards, KPIs, and quality metrics.
• Support traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and releases.

Candidate Requirements:
Test Management & Coordination

• Proven experience as a Test Coordinator, Test Lead, or QA Lead.
• Strong background in software testing methodologies and quality assurance practices.
• Experience coordinating testing across multiple Agile teams and stakeholders.

Test Tooling

• Strong experience with Zephyr
• Experience managing test cases, test cycles, defect tracking, and reporting.

Technical Understanding

• Good understanding of automated testing frameworks and software development lifecycles.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams using modern automation tools such as Playwright and Python.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Playwright test automation environments.
• Understanding of Python development and automation frameworks.
• Experience with Security Testing and quality assurance within regulated environments.
• Knowledge of .NET / C# application environments.
• Experience working with React-based applications.
• Experience within healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or life sciences organisations.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
