Team Lead Embedded Software – Rotterdam – 12-month contract
A customer of ours who create Medical Device software are looking for a team lead to oversee the development, testing and deployment of embedded software for medical devices.
Role
- A combination of hands-on technical work and leadership responsibilities with the primary goal to deliver high quality software for several ongoing and new projects
- One should be willing to develop but also be comfortable reporting progress to various stakeholders within the business.
- Oversee the development of real-time embedded software using C/C++
- Understanding of embedded system architecture
- Code review and quality assurance
- Alignment with regulatory requirements – IEC 62304 and ISO 14971
Requirements
- Solid background as a senior/lead embedded engineer
- Good knowledge of RTOS
- Experience coaching and overseeing more junior developers in the team
- Any experience in the medical sector or other highly regulated industries (aerospace etc…) is desirable but not a hard requirement
