For a client of mine in the East Flanders region/Belgium, I am looking for a Freelance System Security Engineer to join their team and work on their Windows and Active Directory environment.
This role is fully onsite, 5 days per week in the East Flanders region.
Role:
• Working primarily with Windows, Active Directory and system security.
• Following up on findings from a recent penetration test carried out on the company’s environment and servers.
• Updating, improving and rechecking systems, protocols and configurations.
• Managing and reviewing Active Directory accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Working with internal teams and suppliers on security-related improvements.
Required:
• Professional experience in a similar System Administrator / System Security Engineer position.
• Strong Windows and Active Directory experience.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory permissions and account management.
• Experience with SMB and Windows/network protocols.
• Good understanding of system security and penetration test findings.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is preferred but not mandatory.
