Software Validation Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Software Validation Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of our software solutions. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting software validation activities, working closely with development and other engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute software validation and verification activities.
- Create and maintain validation plans, test cases, test scripts, and validation documentation.
- Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing.
- Identify, investigate, and document software defects and validation findings.
- Work closely with software developers and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Contribute to improving software testing and validation processes.
- Ensure validation activities are performed in accordance with applicable quality standards and procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience in software validation, software testing, or a related engineering role.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent testing/validation qualification.
- Practical programming experience with C# and Python.
- Demonstrated experience with software validation and verification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge or experience in cryptography and security principles.
- Experience validating security-critical or safety-critical software.
- Familiarity with automated testing and test frameworks.
- Experience working in regulated or quality-driven environments.
