Software Engineer- Remote Role – 6 months – August Start

The Application Development Engineer will oversee the design, development, and deployment of innovative solutions leveraging Azure Cloud services, containerization, IoT services, to develop SaaS based products. This role is responsible for developing open-source software solutions in a highly regulated environment, ensuring compliance with CRA international regulatory specifications and maintaining industry best practices throughout the software lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead software migration initiatives to adhere to the CRA international specifications.
• Provide technical oversight for projects utilizing Azure Cloud, containerization technologies, IoT components and technologies hosted at customer sites, and familiarity with defining SaaS based services.
• Familiarity with development methodologies including Agile with a focus on CI/CD pipelines to drive efficient and quality delivery.
• Ensure all development activities adhere to regulatory requirements, including but not limited to CRA international specifications.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Expertise in Cloud services including but not limited to Azure. Familiarity with deployment, scaling, and integration.
• Hands-on experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker and AKS).
• Strong familiarity with open-source components including security and lifecycle considerations as well as alignment with enterprise tooling where appropriate.
• Expertise in Open-Source Software (Linux), JavaScript, SQL Databases, Phyton.
• Demonstrates a robust security orientation and possesses the expertise to assess and improve existing solutions, ensuring a consistently secure and reliable service.
• Proven track record in developing IoT solutions focused on SaaS products.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience working in highly regulated industries and interpreting international regulatory specifications.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience with CRA international regulatory compliance.
• Background in application development for highly regulated sectors (e.g., finance, healthcare, government).
