Sales Engineer – Mobile Machines | Benelux
Are you a technical sales professional who’d rather build a market than inherit one?
A global leader in sensor technology and industrial automation is expanding its Mobile Machines division across the Benelux and looking for a Sales Engineer to drive it forward.
In this role, you’ll be the technical and commercial face of the business for OEMs, system integrators, and end users in the mobile machinery space, agricultural and construction equipment, municipal vehicles, and autonomous mobile machines. You’ll help customers make their machines safer, smarter, and more efficient using advanced sensor and safety technology.
What you’ll do:
- Build and grow a customer portfolio in the Mobile Machines segment across Benelux
- Advise on sensor, safety, positioning, and identification solutions for mobile applications
- Spot market trends and turn them into real commercial opportunities
- Build long-term relationships with OEMs, integrators, and end users
- Partner with Application Engineers, Inside Sales, and Marketing on quotes and solution design
- Represent the company at trade fairs and customer events
- Manage your own funnel, forecasts, and targets
What you bring:
- A technical background: electromechanics, automation, mechatronics, electronics, or similar
- Experience in technical B2B sales; mobile machines, industrial automation, or off-highway is a plus, not a must
- The confidence to act as a trusted advisor to engineers and decision-makers alike
- An independent, hunter mentality with a team-first attitude
- Fluent Dutch and English; French at a professional conversational level
