Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Environmental Protection team in the East Midlands. As a Senior Officer, you will play a key role in delivering enforcement, inspections, education, and advice to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. This is a front-line, customer-facing role, where you will manage complex cases, support high-quality service delivery, and work with internal and external partners to improve public safety and wellbeing.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2+ advanced level qualifications and GCSEs in Maths and English
- A Level 6 qualification or substantial experience in managing complex caseloads
- Strong knowledge of environmental protection legislation
- A full current driving licence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Competence in using standard computer systems
- A collaborative, team-focused approach
