About the Client:
Our client is an Italian Electrical Subcontractor working on Data Centre projects with a range of large end-clients.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to support a Data Centre project in Milan. You will be working onsite through the project from preconstruction thought to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quality integrity of all installed systems, ensuring that every component meets the client’s rigorous technical standards and ‘mission-critical’ reliability requirements.
• Develop the Quality Plan (PQX), draft and implement the site-specific quality control plan, defining inspection processes and being responsible for the adherence to customer’s acceptance criteria.
• Participates to the definition of the Method of statement in close collaboration with EHS and Site supervisors
• Inspection and Testing Management: Coordinate and document on-site checks, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), ensuring compliance with as-built drawings and documents
• Commissioning (Cx) Support: Working closely with the commissioning team to prepare the necessary documentation for Levels 1–3 and supports commissioning authority for levels 4 and 5.
• Non-Conformity (NCR) Management: Identify, track and resolve defects or technical deviations, implementing corrective actions to avoid delivery delays.
• Certification and Handover: Oversee the compilation of ‘As-Built’ documentation and technical manuals

Candidate Requirements:

• EU passport holder or Italian permanent resident
• Experience as a QA/QC Manager
• Data Centre experience
• Fluent English, Italian (beneficial)
• Happy to work onsite in Milan, Italy

Contract Details:
Location: 5 days on-site in Milan
Duration: 18 month contract
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate based on experience and qualification
