Freelance Supplier Quality Project Manager (Automotive)
Location: Brussels (50%) + Supplier Sites across Europe & 1 Asia location (50%)

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Project Manager to support a key automotive program. This role is split between Brussels and regular travel to supplier sites across Europe, with occasional travel to Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage supplier quality activities across multiple automotive component suppliers
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with automotive quality standards
- Drive supplier performance improvements and corrective action plans
- Ensure suppliers meet all regulatory and customer quality requirements
- Act as the main interface between internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Monitor and report on supplier quality KPIs and risks
- Support issue resolution and escalation management
Requirements
- Strong experience in supplier quality / quality project management within the automotive sector
- Proven track record of conducting supplier audits (e.g., IATF 16949, VDA standards)
- Experience working with international suppliers
- Willingness to travel frequently (approx. 50%) across Europe and occasional Asia travel
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Fluent English (spoken required; Japanese Plus)
