Freelance Ground-Mounted PV Project Manager (Germany)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Ground-Mounted PV professional to support the delivery of two utility-scale solar projects in the Koblenz region of Germany. This is a full-time contract running from September 2026 through July 2027, offering a predominantly remote working arrangement with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the successful delivery of two ground-mounted solar PV projects (5–15 MW).
• Coordinate project activities to ensure milestones are achieved on time and within scope.
• Liaise with project stakeholders, contractors, and the client throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates.
• Attend site visits as required (approximately two days per month).
• Ensure compliance with project standards, health & safety requirements, and local regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering ground-mounted solar PV projects.
• Fluent German language skills (spoken and written).
• EU passport holder or valid German residency/work authorisation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining effective collaboration with the wider project team.

Working Arrangement

• Duration: September 2026 – July 2027

• Location: Hybrid – predominantly remote with occasional travel to project sites near Koblenz (approximately two site visits per month).
