Freelance Production Planner | Brussels | 3-Month Initial Contract
Our client, a leading international food & beverage manufacturer based in Brussels, is looking for an experienced Freelance Production Planner to join the team on an ASAP basis to provide cover during a period of absence.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation, taking ownership of end-to-end production planning while working closely with production, customer service, supply chain and logistics teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end production planning process across multiple production lines.
- Convert customer demand into achievable production plans while balancing capacity and material availability.
- Coordinate closely with Customer Service to ensure customer requirements and delivery commitments are met.
- Optimise production schedules to maximise service levels, efficiency and plant utilisation.
- Monitor production performance and adjust plans in response to changing priorities.
- Collaborate with production and R&D teams.
- Maintain accurate planning parameters and master data within SAP.
- Support daily operational meetings and provide planning updates to key stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Planner within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience within the Food & Beverage industry is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of SAP: S/4HANA and APO.
- Excellent understanding of production planning, scheduling and supply chain processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced operational environment.
