Overview

Our client is in the early stages of an enterprise-wide Palantir Foundry and AIP implementation following a strategic partnership with Palantir. Initial products have been developed alongside Palantir Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), and they are now building their internal engineering capability to own, scale and govern the platform.

They are seeking a Lead AI / Palantir Architect to establish engineering standards, architecture and best practices as adoption accelerates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical direction of the Palantir Foundry platform.

• Define governance, engineering standards and platform best practices.

• Partner with Palantir FDEs while progressively transitioning ownership to internal

engineering teams.

• Design scalable Ontology, data models and application architecture.

• Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across multiple

product squads.

• Guide full-stack engineering decisions across backend, frontend and platform

components.

• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure and maintainable.

• Drive enterprise adoption of AI and Foundry across the organization.

Required Experience

• Extensive hands-on experience delivering solutions in Palantir Foundry.

• Strong understanding of Ontology, Pipelines, Workshop and AIP.

• Full-stack software engineering background.

• Experience defining architecture, governance and engineering standards.

• Ability to mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction.

• Experience working alongside or within Palantir FDE teams is highly desirable.

Location

• Hybrid in St. Louis (4 days per week preferred).

• Remote candidates may be considered if willing to travel.
