Overview
Vivid is partnering with a major private equity organization that is building out a strategic internal Center of Excellence (CoE) around the Palantir Technologies platform.
The business adopted Palantir approximately 18 months ago and has already secured continued executive investment following strong early adoption and success across initial use cases. They are now scaling their capability with the goal of creating a highly business-aligned, execution-focused Palantir function that can support both enterprise initiatives and potentially portfolio companies in the future.
Current projects include improving the investment and deal lifecycle, enabling operational intelligence, and enhancing internal performance visibility across teams and business units.
This team is looking for highly technical builders with an FDE-style mindset — people who can operate directly with stakeholders, understand business problems quickly, and deliver scalable solutions hands-on.
What They’re Looking For
The ideal candidates will combine deep technical expertise with strong commercial awareness and the ability to operate in fast-moving business environments.
You should be comfortable working across a modern unified data stack including:
- Palantir Technologies Foundry
- Full Palantir ecosystem including Ontology, Workshop, Pipeline Builder, Code Repositories, Operational Applications, and AIP capabilities
- Strong understanding of AIP logic, AI workflows, and how to operationalize LLM-driven use cases within Foundry
- Databricks
- Snowflake
- Python / SQL / Spark-based engineering environments
- Modern API and integration workflows
This is not a pure architecture or governance role. They want genuine doers — engineers and consultants who can own problems end-to-end, engage directly with business stakeholders, and rapidly deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale applications, workflows, and operational solutions within the Palantir ecosystem
- Design and implement ontology-driven operational workflows and business applications
- Develop and support AI-enabled use cases leveraging Palantir AIP capabilities
- Work directly with investment, operations, and business stakeholders to understand problems and rapidly prototype solutions
- Develop scalable data pipelines and integrations across Snowflake, Databricks, and enterprise systems
- Support use cases tied to deal lifecycle management, operational performance, and business intelligence
- Create reusable frameworks and best practices as part of the growing Palantir CoE
- Help define the long-term operating model and technical roadmap for Palantir adoption across the business
- Collaborate with Palantir partner teams and internal leadership to drive measurable ROI from platform investments
Required Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with the full Palantir Technologies stack
- Experience building within Foundry, Ontology, Workshop, AIP, and operational applications
- Strong understanding of AI orchestration, AIP logic, and business process automation within Palantir
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms including Databricks and/or Snowflake
- Strong Python and SQL engineering capabilities
- Experience building production-grade data workflows and operational applications
- Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with direct stakeholder exposure
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business conversations
- Experience in banking, financial services, private equity, or broader finance environments is highly desirable
