Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Managing Consultant to establish a Second Level Support Department from scratch for an automotive supplier focused on backend cloud technologies. The role involves building the team, designing processes, and implementing tools to manage complex technical issues in cloud-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Department Setup: Design the support structure, define roles, set up SLAs, and establish incident management processes.
Cloud Backend Support: Implement tools to monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring uptime and performance.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead the support team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Collaboration: Work with first-level support, development, and infrastructure teams for seamless issue resolution.
Automation & Tools: Experience of implementing ticketing systems, performance monitoring, and automation for improved efficiency.
Required Skills
8+ years in IT consulting with experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and backend infrastructure and setting up departments.
Experience in automotive or supply chain industries is a plus.
Proven ability to build and manage support teams.
Previous experience in contracting/ negotiating with German OEM’s over SLA’s.
Expertise in incident management tools and processes.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with ITIL and DevOps methodologies.
