About the Client:
Our client is an international food production company operating large-scale manufacturing facilities in Europe. The site produces a wide range of products, and operates under strict quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interim QA Manager to provide leadership, structure, and operational support to the quality function within a dynamic production environment. You will play a key role in strengthening quality systems, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance across the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will lead a team of 5 quality employees
• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation, certifications, customer standards, and audit requirements
• Work closely with the QA team, production teams, and project stakeholders
• Drive quality awareness and foster a proactive quality culture across the site
• Act as the key link between management, production, operators, and external stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement preventive quality measures
• Manage deviations, complaints, CAPAs, and root cause analysis processes
• Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external audits
• Support and improve quality management systems and documentation processes

• Strong experience in QA within the food industry
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QA leadership or management role
• Self-motivated, strong communication skills, and hands-on
• Experience leading a quality team
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field
• Languages: Dutch; English is a plus

Contract Details
Location: Antwerp Province, Belgium (on-site with hybrid flexibility)
Duration: 6-12 months + possible extensions
Schedule: 32–40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate, depending on experience and qualifications
