The successful candidate will have the ability to develop and maintain high performing teams and shape and direct the work of your service to deliver our priority outcomes. You will have direct operational responsibility over a range of service areas including transport strategy and planning, transport modelling and monitoring, active travel, road safety engineering and road safety education, alongside responsibility for the successful delivery of the Local Transport Fund.
Ability to support the new transport infrastructure and road safety schemes and projects. You will effectively commission delivery of transport projects, ensuring achievement of aims and objectives within agreed budgets and timescales.
