Instrumentation & Control Lead
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Lead to support a critical project during the commissioning phase. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with contractor coordination, focusing on loop testing, DCS functionality, and overall system readiness.
Responsibilities
- Support pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including loop testing and DCS validation.
- Supervise and coordinate 3-4 contractors, ensuring work is executed to specification and schedule.
- Oversee field instrumentation checks (valves, signals, wiring) and field to DCS.
- Assist with mechanical completion, documentation, and review of technical drawings.
- Guide testing processes and ensure systems function correctly according to design specifications.
Requirements
- Strong experience in instrumentation, control systems, and DCS.
- Proven background in commissioning and loop testing within industrial projects.
- Ability to combine technical expertise with contractor supervision and coordination.
- Solid field knowledge of instrumentation and mechanical completion processes.
- Fluent in English (Dutch is plus), and available for fulltime-onsite work (40-48 hours/week).
