Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of HVAC systems for a major engineering project in Germany. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, producing high-quality HVAC designs and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with German and international standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced consultant looking to support the delivery of complex engineering projects within a flexible remote working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop HVAC systems to meet project requirements
• Produce and modify HVAC layouts, drawings, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders
• Ensure HVAC designs comply with applicable German and international standards
• Participate in technical reviews, design meetings, and engineering discussions
• Support project delivery throughout engineering and implementation phases
• Review, maintain, and update design documentation as required
• Provide technical input and support during project execution

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Design Engineer
• Strong experience designing HVAC systems for complex engineering projects
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or TriCAD
• Experience producing detailed HVAC engineering designs and technical documentation
• Knowledge of German building regulations and engineering standards
• Experience working on industrial, energy, pharmaceutical, infrastructure, or manufacturing projects
• Strong communication and coordination skills within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to work independently within a remote project environment
• Fluent German and English required

Contract Details:

• Location: Germany (primarily remote with occasional site attendance)
• Duration: Initial 12-month contract
• Start: 1st September 2026
• Working Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Rate: Negotiable
