About the Client:
Our client is a leading transmission system operator within the energy sector in Germany, responsible for maintaining and developing critical infrastructure to ensure the reliable delivery of electricity across a wide region. They focus on integrating renewable energy sources and supporting the energy transition while ensuring grid stability and operational efficiency.

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to support the delivery of an Energy Infrastructure project from the Berlin office. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to support project objectives.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6
• Develop baseline schedules and update progress on a daily or weekly basis
• Break down the project into WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and activity levels
• Input resource allocations, activity durations, and logic ties into P6
• Track critical path and near-critical path activities to prevent project delays
• Perform schedule analysis and generate lookahead reports (1-week, 3-week, etc.)

Candidate Requirements:

• Eligible to work in Germany as a freelancer (EU passport or German residency)
• Expert user of Primavera P6
• Experience on infrastructure/construction projects, ideally energy infrastructure experience
• Fluent in German (C1+) and English

Contract Details
Location: 3-4 days in the Berlin office every other week
Duration: 12 month contract with potential extension based on project needs
Rate: Competitive freelance daily rate based on experience and qualifications
