Business Controller / Finance Manager
Lommel | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) | Part-time possible
The Role
Our client, a growing and dynamic organisation based in Lommel, is looking for a Business Controller / Finance Manager who can act as a key bridge between finance and operations.
This is a high-impact role designed for a hands-on, ambitious finance professional who enjoys working close to the business and driving growth through data, insights, and strong reporting structures.
You will take ownership of the controlling activities, enabling leadership to make informed decisions while freeing up senior management to focus on strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly reporting and financial controlling cycle
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to track business performance
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for operational teams
- Act as the link between finance and operations, supporting decision-making
- Drive improvements in reporting processes, tools, and data quality
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor business performance and identify risks and opportunities
- Take ownership of controlling tasks currently handled by senior management
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- First experience in controlling, finance business partnering, or audit
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, growth-oriented attitude
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, evolving environment
- Experience with Business Central is a strong plus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
- Fluent in Dutch (essential)
