Azure Data Engineer (Microsoft Fabric & Power BI) | Freelance
I’m looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join an established data team, working on the development and optimisation of its data platform and BI solutions.
This is a long-term freelance opportunity for someone who combines strong Azure Data Engineering experience with hands-on Microsoft Fabric and Power BI development, particularly DAX.
Your profile
🔹 Strong experience in Azure Data Engineering and Microsoft Azure data environments.
🔹 Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is essential.
🔹 Strong Power BI development skills, particularly DAX.
🔹 Solid SQL experience, including data transformation and querying.
🔹 Experience developing and optimising data pipelines and ETL processes.
🔹 Good understanding of data modelling, data warehousing and BI solutions.
🔹 Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and translate requirements into effective data solutions.
🔹 Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment.
🔹 Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks or similar technologies is a plus.
The opportunity
Belgium — remote working.
Initial 12-month freelance mission, with extensions. (Long term)
ASAP start preferred.
