Overview
We’re looking for a highly customer-facing Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with end clients, owning the design and delivery of data-driven applications within Palantir Foundry. This role requires someone who can operate at the intersection of engineering and business, delivering solutions end-to-end in live environments.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into scalable Foundry solutions
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end data workflows (ingestion → transformation → application layer)
- Develop and maintain applications using Ontology, Workshop, and AIP
- Own delivery in client environments –Â from initial discovery through to deployment and ongoing iteration
- Lead workshops, gather requirements, and drive adoption across business units
- Troubleshoot and optimise production systems, ensuring reliability and performance
What You Bring
- 5+ years in data engineering / software engineering / FDE-style roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Ontology, Workshop, AIP)
- Previous experience at Palantir (FDE / Deployment Strategist)Â – highly preferred
- Proven ability to operate in customer-facing environments and manage stakeholders
- Strong coding skills (Python, PySpark, SQL; TypeScript/JavaScript a plus)
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade data pipelines and applications
Nice to Have
- Experience with AIP / LLM use cases
- Background in consulting or enterprise delivery
- Exposure to large-scale deployments across multiple business units
