12-Month Contract | Competitive Day Rate
We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Fire Engineer to join our team on an initial 12-month contract.
The successful candidate will provide specialist fire engineering support across a range of projects, ensuring fire safety standards, regulatory compliance and technical requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review fire strategy reports.
- Provide fire engineering design solutions and technical advice.
- Review fire safety drawings, specifications and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire safety legislation and building regulations.
- Liaise with architects, structural engineers, contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Support fire safety inspections, assessments and project reviews.
- Provide technical guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Fire Engineering or a related discipline.
- Previous experience working as a Fire Engineer.
- Good knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and Building Regulations.
- Experience with fire strategies and fire engineering principles.
- Strong communication and technical report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a project team.
- Professional registration or membership of a relevant industry body desirable.
