Senior Fire Engineer – Contract (12 Months)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fire Engineer to join a leading global consultancy on an initial 12-month contract. This flexible opportunity offers hybrid working, with the option to work fully remotely while supporting a wide range of high-profile projects across London and the UK.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
- Producing fire strategies and technical fire engineering reports.
- Delivering fire engineering solutions across residential, commercial, mixed-use and complex developments.
- Providing expert advice on Building Regulations, Approved Document B and the Building Safety Act.
- Working closely with architects, developers, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Supporting projects from concept through to completion.
- Attending design meetings and site visits where required.
Essential Requirements
- MIFireE (Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers) – Essential.
- Proven experience as a Fire Engineer within a UK consultancy.
- Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Approved Document B and fire safety legislation.
- Experience producing fire strategies for a variety of building types.
- Excellent report writing and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently within a remote or hybrid environment.
