Our client, a local authority in the West Midlands, is seeking to appoint an experienced Environmental Protection (EP) Officer to join their Environmental Health Team. The role will involve investigating and resolving noise complaints and general statutory nuisances. Experience in handling specialist noise issues would be advantageous, but the primary focus will be on environmental protection.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in this field, ideally within a local authority environment. There may be flexibility in how the role is carried out, such as remote work with on-site attendance as required.
The contract is set to begin as soon as possible and will last for 3 months, with the potential for extension. The pay rate is approximately £40 per hour (Umbrella), depending on qualifications and experience.
