Vivid Resourcing is seeking a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join a city council’s Environmental Health Team in the West Midlands on a 9 month contract.
Details:
You will be responsible for investigating, inspecting, and enforcing statutory obligations related to public health and environmental protection. This includes areas like food safety, health and safety, infectious diseases, waste management, nuisance control, and animal welfare. The role offers a mix of on-site and remote work.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be a CIEH Registered Environmental Health Practitioner with at least 2 years of experience in local authorities. Strong enforcement expertise, the ability to manage workloads effectively, and flexibility to work beyond regular hours are essential.
