12 MONTH ELECTRICAL PACKAGE MANAGER WANTED- NORWAY

We are currently supporting a leading contractor on a major hyperscale data centre construction project in Narvik, Norway, and I’m looking to speak with experienced Freelance Electrical Package Managers who are interested in long-term contract opportunities.
This role offers the chance to lead the delivery of a significant electrical package on a high-profile, mission-critical project, overseeing complex electrical installations from construction through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full responsibility for the delivery of the electrical package throughout the construction phase.
- Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Oversee project planning, programme management, and resource coordination.
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning, and energisation activities with the wider project team.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Package Manager, Senior Electrical Project Engineer, or Electrical Project Manager on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, industrial, or other mission-critical construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, cable containment, and power distribution.
- Experience managing electrical subcontractors and coordinating multiple workstreams on complex construction projects.
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes and project handover.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills within fast-paced international project environments.
